SHEA, Sharon P. Sharon P. Shea, 49, of Rockville, wife of Dennis G. Strait, died Thursday, (January 4, 2007) at Rockville General Hospital. She was born in Manchester daughter of Mildred Bordua of Rockville and the late William Shea. Sharon was formerly employed by the Rockville Reminder and was currently employed by the Town of Vernon. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Strait of Rockville; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, William Shea II and Robert J. Shea. Friends may gather on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at St. Bernard's Church, Rockville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse and Health Services, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066.

Mrs. Shea, Dennis & Jen, Very Sorry for your lose and our's too. I know everybody will miss her. She was a beautful person. I my thoughts our with you.

I remember a dare...we would roll down the hill on our bikes , let go of the handle bars and hold out our arms like soaring angels. And then we would close our eyes! We were invincible! I'm really sorry for your loss. Mrs. Shea was an awsome person and she had the bigest heart. Jenny i'm always here for you, i'll always be your little sister and i'm here through anything. I miss your mom so much she was so wonderful. I still have that bottle of purfume she was always trying to get me. Love you guys and love you sharon. I miss you so much.

Jenny and Dennis- We can not express how deeply saddened we are for your loss, as she is a loss to us all. To Sharon's family. I never personally met Sharon but we talked almost everyday through our employment. I know she was very proud of her family. We talked about everything Jennifer changing college. How wonderful her husband was after the surgery and many other things. We shared a common bond. Please accept my deepest sympathy for such a terrible loss. Even through her pain we shared so many laughs. I am going to miss this lovely soft spoken women. God took her to soon. Again my deepest sympathy
