Mr and Mrs. Lupica, Family, Friends, and fellow Mourners,

I understand that today today is two years from Marisa's passing. I remember hearing the news, seeing red eyes attending the funeral all without truly extending myself to you and your family ( As I felt). It wasn't until the following year on Marisa's birthday; when we had just set up camp at Marienfeld in Koln Germany with Tony and Annelise where we all took a minute to say hello to Marisa (she was supposed to attend the pilgramage) and we had the best group hug ever, shed a nostalgic tear, that I felt that I had done everything and the best I could for you.

Thank you for being so strong, for me, and the community. Congradulations, your daughter is an angel, you must be so proud. I would also liket to let you know that she is my gaurdian angel along with friends, family, and other acquaintances.

Love you all so much.

I am originally from La Canada and happened to be in the area the week of Marisa's passing. I am so saddened for your family at losing her. Five months later I still think about her and all of her loved ones and wish you all the deepest of my sympathies. She sounded like the most wonderful young woman and I wish that I could have met her. Someday in Heaven, I will!

Marisa was a wonderful girl. I think of her as the ideal roll model for what a child should be and I hope that one day I can be as determined and as funny as she was. Marisa had the best parents and I know that she is looking down on her family and friends right now and smiling. She will always be in our hearts.

To the Lupica and Elshoff family,

I wanted to give my dearest condolences to both family's during their time of grief. I did not know Marisa Anne personally, but as a St. Francis High School alumni ('98) I must pay my respects to a beautiful life cut short. I have no doubt that this young lady would have grown to be a successful, kind, and generous woman.

P.S. Fr. Matt I would like to personally put you in my prayers as you do everyday for myself as I fight to keep your family and mine safe.

Sincerely,

SGT. Alexander Stefanovich
