I was shocked and surprised to learn of Sharon's passing through an e-mail sent this week (10/20) through Moore Public Schools. Wayne and I both remember Sharon, and the rest of the family, from the days he was on staff at Trinity Baptist Church. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I first want to say that my prayers are with the family. I was in her class back in 02. She was an amazing teacher that touched me very deeply. She brought me out of my shy side and taught me to be out going. I miss her so dearly and I cant even begin to say all the things i want to I may take up a few pages. She was a wonderful teacher and she will greatly be missed

I had Mrs. Ledgerwood 1999- 2002 at MHS. I wasn't always a good student but Mrs. Ledgerwood saw past that and was someone I could talk to when things were bad. She was one of the few teachers who really cared about her students. I will always have fond memories of her.
