Not sure what to say?

Wow, from what I have read, this world lost a very smart man on that horrible day. I saw a tribute from a guy in a neighboring city of ours (Lewisville). My thoughts and prayers today go out to the friends and family you left behind. I want them to know that we will never forget, and we will try to honor your memory by being the best citizens that we can be. With much love from Texas.

Please except my sincere sympathy, and condolence.

Thinking of Bryan and his loved ones on the 10th anniversary. Was at Blacker House in May for my 35th reunion. Had hoped there might be a memorial there, but there was none. Something for the Caltech classes of 72-76 think about. Peace, Dayna Salter

I went to high school with Bryan. Of a class of 500, there were 3 of us who made positive scores on the math equivalent of a spelling bee. Bryan scored over 800, Robert Michie scored around 220 and I had a score in the 60s.

Bryan was scary smart (math and science) You could ask Bryan what 2^32 was and he'd say "I don't know, but 2^16 is 65,536 and if you square that you get uuuhhh.... 4,294,967,296." I wrote it down and looked it up, he was right. Guy could multiple...

Bryan, my dear cousin: U.S. forces killed bin Laden today in Pakistan. He is gone, and I am glad. But you are still gone, too. And nothing will ease that pain. Please know we love you and miss you.

Bryan: In the 90s when I was working for OSD Comptroller and you were with PA&E, you encouraged me to finish up my PhD at Virginia Tech. I finally did so in 2004 and dedicated my dissertation to you. You were one of the smartest guys I ever knew, and I want to thank you publicly for your support. I'm sure you're in God's hands now, teaching math to the angels.

I knew Bryan at Caltech in the early 70's. We were both in Blacker house, but he was a couple of years ahead of me. He was a smart, clever and funny young man when I knew him. I remember fondly his roles in my freshman initiation and at the Blacker Interhouse Party, Fall of 1972. I hope his family has found peace. I remember him often, especially on this day.

In memory....
