Marshall Jones Obituary
Marshall John Jones, 72, of San Diego, passed away in his home, Friday, November 9th, surrounded by his wife and family, who loved him dearly. Born in El Centro, Marshall moved with parents, Marshall and Juanita, to San Diego. He attended Hoover High School and briefly Rosemead High school where he graduated, and shortly after entered the Army as a Paratrooper. After the service, he started a family with his wife Helen and soon took over his father's printing firm, Acme Printing Co. He was a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Lion's Club, Elks, Kiwanis and Masons. His printing experience was sought by Joyce Nemeth and together, developed and marketed a removable Tattoo decal called Tattoos by Joyce. Afterwards, Marshall returned to the printing industry managing Paper Plus in El Cajon. When he retired, Marshall took up another passion, day-trading, and wrote a manual called Simple-As-1-2-3 putting it on his website where he taught his wonderful students from around the world. Marshall was a devoted husband to Helen for 48 years, a dedicated family-man, and a loyal friend. He will be greatly missed and lovingly thought of with every sunrise. Marshall is survived by his sister, Marlene, wife, Helen, daughters, Renee, Sharon, Darlene, sons, Marshall and Michael, sons-in-law, Greg and Frank, and grandchildren, Joey, Frankie, Ryan, and Colette. Memorial Service: 1:45 p.m. sharp on November 26th, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, SD. Procession meets at flagpole entrance with escort to gazebo. Dad,
We all love you so much, and we are so very proud of you.
Look and see how many lives you touched-- how you inspired others with your self-less giving, your integrity, your lively spirit and warm-hearted teaching style. And, oh yeah, your brilliant "Simple as 1-2-3" trading method! But, most of all, your big heart.
May all these traders be blessed, for loving you as we do. We miss you. Your grand-children adore you.
You are still and will forever be Mom's beloved, and "Our Sunsine".
Each one of your children feel that we were truly blessed to have you for our Dad. I hope I can be like you... maybe a teacher some day.
I hope the "Jones-Gang" can keep your work going. Many thanks to Lavender, Shaggy, and JR-- (Hope I have those names right!)And all other trader friends and students. What joy the trading community brought to you.
Frank and Greg miss you also. You were their buddy-- and all your friends were your brothers. Aunt Marlene will surely have so many wonderful memories of her "bubby".
You asked me once to make sure that your little grand-daughter, Colette, would not forget you-- you said, "Help her to remember me..." Dad, please know that none of us could ever forget you for one moment. I am so proud of the many stories I can tell Colette about you-- begining with this guest-book-- a beautiful tribute to your amazing spirit, heart, and soul. You truly were an "amazing individual", as one of your trading comrades put it...
There's a line from a recent film that reminds me of you so much-- the main character has lead a life of love, caring, service, loyalty, and integrity for all of his many days, and at the end of his life here on Earth, he knows he is about to come to his end, and enter into Eternity. He asks of "Death", "Should I be afraid?" and Death answers, "Not a man like you." We love you Dad. You made all our days brighter. And now we carry your sunshine in our hearts.

A message of love and fond memories to our dear neighbor of 36 years and friend for two more. We didn't realize when we bought our home in 1969 that our lives would touch in so many ways. Our children grew up together and we were there together, through the good and not so good.

Although I never met Marsh, his 123 book conveyed his humorous personality and light heartedness to life. To be able to convey this in a trading manual... What a gift!
