Noma Salgado Obituary

SALGADO, NOMA L. Noma 91, of Escondido passed away peacefully on October 9, 2006. A loving, cheerful mother and grandma to many, she will be remembered for her boundless love and kindness. Noma found great joy being surrounded by family and friends. Noma was an ardent reader and avid seamstress, especially enjoying sewing quilts and dresses for her grandchildren. She feared little in life except snakes, heights, and Republicans. Mom was the root of our family tree, the fabric that made up the quilt of our lives. She will be missed by all whose hearts she touched. Please sign the guest book at obituaries.uniontrib.com

Dear Salgado Family,
I will always remember your mom with love and warm memories from my years of growing up next to your Aunt Nola and Uncle Joe. Your mom was a loving and gentle woman with a kind heart. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers as you journey through your sorrow. May God bless all of you and comfort you in the knowledge that some day we will all be with our departed loved ones again, where we will no longer feel sorrow or pain, but joy and celebration. With my deepest sympathy.

Rick, Roberta, and Ron --
Your mother was a wonderful woman -- warm and smart and tough and kind. I will always think of her warmly, and am very glad she was part of my life.

Roberta, Ronnie and Rick,
I share the loss of your precious mother. My life is full of childhood memories of her; thank you for sharing her love with me and my family while growing up.
You do know that as soon as the Angels came for her, your father, your Aunt Nola and my Mom were waiting for her with open arms.
