I wanted to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful, talented, ambitious, and caring young lady. I've known Charmane since freshman year at FSU in DeGraff Hall. From the moment I met her, I knew she was special. She was the type of person who leaves an impression on all lives that she graces. She was truly an angel placed in our lives, and hearts for the past 27 years. I will continue to keep the Walker family in my prayers. I'm missing you Charmane!!!

Charmane,

I got to know you only superficially as your fellow FSU alumni. YOu are a beautiful person and although I didn't get to know you on the level other people may have known you, we are all linked through God's spirit. I did get a chance to speak with you in the past year and you were striving to be the best. You are in a better place than all of us now and God bless you for it! Til we meet again.

God bless your family and help them to know that there is really and truly a master plan for all of us and that you are gone only physically but still abide spiritually.

first and foremost my sympathies go out to all the family members and sorors. i didn't know her personally but i frequently saw her around campus. she seemed to exemplify what a black woman should be... beautiful, talented, confident and SO smart. i'm sure her sorority was proud to have her as a member and i'm sure her parents were more than proud of their daughter. I am SO sorry for your loss. i'll pray for the restoration of the hearts and minds of all those affected. again i'm VERY sorry for your loss. God Bless.

Charmane there is so much that I learned from you in the short time that I knew you. We both were determined to make a career in real-estate. For what it's worth I won't allow our dreams to not be pursued, I know that you wouldn't want that. I will remember the good times, and allow your spirit to live through me. I love you

Charmane words will never decribe you and when I first met you in New Orleans through Danielle. You had the most beautiful smile and the warmest sense of humor,"although you very sassy", you still knew the direction that you wanted to take and you did it, no matter how many miles it took you to get there and I must say, "you made it". So now as you continue your journey you will definitely have a peaceful one. Love Always,

Tink & D.J

Twila and Family,

There are some things we will never understand on this side of eternity. The Bile says in Psalm 139 that "all of your days were ordained for you before one of them came to be..." That tells us that God has a perfect plan for our lives and one in Glory, you'll know why God called Charmane home. But for now, you have Gods promise that one day you will see her again. I will be praying for you!

Although Charmaine was my first cousin, my memories of her are vague. I'd only met her once or twice when I'd visit my father. From what I've read she was a very sweet person and I wish I'd gotten to know her a whole lot more.

We met Charmane after she re-located to Atlanta. We didn't know her for a very long time, but she impacted our lives tremendously. We loved spending time with Charmane & Danielle. We always had thought provoking, funny and enjoyable conversations. We loved Charmane because of her wit, kindness, ambition and confidence. Knowing her has truly been a blessing and has changed our lives forever. We looked forward to our Friday night movie gatherings, the interesting conversations and the wonderful restaurant experiences. We welcomed each other into our homes and into our lives. The friendship discovered was genuine and sincere. She was a beautiful person with a wonderful spirit. She made us laugh until our sides hurt. She made us think and always consider another perspective. She made us cry when we heard we had lost her. And now, she has made us better people simply because we were blessed to have known her. We only had her for a season, but in that time she was loved, appreciated and will be deeply missed. Our prayers go out to her family and friends. We admired that she was so family oriented and she always spoke so highly of her mom & dad and her entire family. Rest Well Charmane! Ty & Kelly

Charmane didn't take one minute of her life for granted. We will miss her here on earth, but she's singing and dancing with the angels. I'm sure Grandma Mable meet her at the gate and she's helping her with her journey now. Be strong and you'll see her again. I love you Auntie Twila, Bernie and Christopher. And remember the 27 years God blessed us with Charmane.

Soror Charmane was truly an exciting soror. I met her (along with Soror Raishell) back in 2000 in Tallahassee while we were shopping for clothes at Sia's. She had a flair for fashion and was very outgoing. My prayers to her family in the loss of someone so truly special.
