R.I.P. Sgt. Hinkley
It is not easy to sacrifice your life for the freedom of others. Those who do so will have a place in heaven with their almighty God. Live good in heaven for an eternal life there. You will not be forgotten.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Hinkley Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

I am so sorry for your loss. I have 2 adult daughters and it saddens me to know how you must feel. Grief is so very difficult when our loved ones die no matter how noble the cause. May God grant you all the strength you need as you live each day without faith. Please take courage and have faith a new day has been promised:(Isaiah 2:4) . . .And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen

To the Hinkley family:
May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

To the Loved Ones of Faith R. Hinkley

Tomorrow, Sunday, August 29, your family and your precious Faith will be lifted up in prayer at Community Christian Church in Richardson, Texas. The last Sunday of each month, the names of those who have given their lives in service that month are called out and a member of the congregation stands on their behalf. After all the names are read and the representatives remain standing, the pastor prays for those lost soldiers and their families. It is only a small token of our heartfelt gratitude for those who have given their lives for freedom and peace. May the peace of God be with you.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. My family and I have had to priviledge to meet your daughter when she came up to Staten Island, N.Y., with Franklyn Howard. "May Gods Peace which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ." Philippians 4:7
As a Mom myself, I could only pray that God would comfort you during this time and provide you with the strength needed to endure (Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Please know that you and your family are in our prayers and we will pray that Gods loving arms would comfort you during these trying times. May you experience His Comfort and Peace. God Bless you and your Family and know that we also mourn your Beautiful Daughter Faith, whom we have had the priviledge of knowing and Salute Faith with Honor, Love and Respect for her Bravery and dedication in serving our Country unselfishly.
May God Bless You and Your Family and please know that God Loves you and Is aware of what you are experiencing.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Spc. Faith R. Hinkley our Sister in Arms. To her family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Faith. And to Faith it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank her for the ultimate sacrifice she made while deployed in Iraq. No greater love is shown than a sister warrior lay down her life for another. Faith, you are a brave Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of the 1,309 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion in Shreveport, Louisiana, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Faith’s family and loved ones.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Faith will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed

But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.

For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.

I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.

I salute you .

Please know how Deeply Sorry I am, to learn of the loss of Spc Faith Hinkley.
As a parent, who has lost a daughter suddenly and having lost a brother to war...
I am aware of the deep and devastating pain that you are experiencing. The overwhelming heartache, that seems to surface through our shock, as the time passes.
In the days ahead, you will be going through unimaginable grief, please hang on to your faith and know that you will get through this.

May the memories of your Brave Young Heroine, remain in your heart always and give you strength through the difficult days and may Faith rest safely now, in the Loving Care of God and know that she Will Never Be Forgotten.

I am the sister, of such a young Hero, who made the Ultimate Sacrifice in Vietnam, many years ago.

"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee."
~ Psalm 55:22 ~

Sincerely hoping that you can feel the thoughts of caring and support that surround you today and in the days ahead, as this Grateful Country Mourns with you, for Someone Very Precious to you, Who Is A True American Heroine to all of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
