May those who love him and miss his presence in their lives find peace and sunshine as they approach this ninth anniversary of his passing. I hope that they find some comfort from the many words that are written on this site by people who care. Rest in peace Kristofor, rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Honoring the life, service, dedication and sacrifice of a fine young American serviceman. Sadly, in the years since his death, thousands of other names have been added to the list of the fallen - each and every one of them a son, daughter, wife, husband, friend - each a tragic loss to those who loved them. Every name on this site is that of an individual who chose the harder path in life when they decided to serve America at home and abroad. We owe a debt to these young men and women and in my opinion the best way that it can be paid is for each of us to make our every day and every action, worthy of their willingness to serve and protect no matter the consequences. We cannot know just what Kristofor Stonesifer would have accomplished had he been granted a long life, but from all that I've read on his memorial site, I'm certain that he would have done nothing but build on what he had already begun. For now, all we can do is be grateful that he lived and hope that his family have found some peace in their lives over these many years.

With my Heartfelt sorrows, I am in the middle east hearing of another lost friend, and thinking of those that have gone before him. I only knew your son for a short time in Regiment, as I was injured in training and getting out before the invasion. He was assigned to the Squad I was in before I was hurt. I often think of him and all of those lost. With Respect. RLTW

Kristofor, I want to thank you for the sacrifice you made for my freedom, you will never be forgotten. and to Kristofor's family, I am so sorry for your loss, more then just an American Hero he was your family, may God bless you all. we dont know eachother but are now foever joined as my nephew PFC Aaron J Ward at age 19 while serving in Iraq on May 6 2008 was also added to the long list of American Heor's who made the ultimate sacrifice for our continued freedom. may God bless us all and protect the so many other soldiers still fighting. rest in peace Kristopfor for America loves you...

I wanted to say thank you to Kristofor's family for their sacrifice. I'm so grateful for men and women like Kristofor who were willing to give everything to the cause of freedom. He won't be forgotten.

It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my true sympathy to the family and friends of Pfc Stonesifer. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Pfc Stonesifer knew that there are people in America who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. Although I did not know him, I know that he must have been a very special person to be willing to do something that most Americans will never have to experience and for that we can never say thank you enough.

I can't even find the words...I lost my 19 year old son--5 Sept 2007, Balad, Iraq. I am absolutely devastated and I know that you are too...but find comfort in the fact that we will see our loved ones, our heroes again. Do I wish that I could trade places with my son? ABSOLUTELY not. He is in the arms of our Lord--"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away" ~Rev 21:4

ALWAYS A HERO.

If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guestbook for the rest of my life, but I promised Le Ron A. Wilson (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.

My son is a Ranger and has this name on his wristband in memory of Kris. How can I ever thank this family for what they have given up for my freedom? God bless and hang on to Jesus as link to your loved ones who are now our Angels in Heaven.
