Mary H. Fulmer, 86, formerly of Topeka, loving mother and grandmother went to her eternal home on March 3, 2008 after battling Alzheimers Disease. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Mary will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Before marrying and starting her family, Mary and her best friend, her sister Ruth, formed a singing duet. The Miccolis Sisters as they were known, produced numerous records, toured with other performers like Roy Rogers, Eddie Arnold and Gene Autry, and had a radio program on WIBW in Topeka for many years. Her legacy and passion though was always her family, to which she devoted herself after she married. She was preceded in death by her parents Giovanni and Francesca Miccolis of Chicago, IL, and 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Britt and Brenda of Wichita, and Bob and Louann of Topeka; sisters Ruth (Williams) of Chanute, Fran (Powers) of Algonquin, IL, and Elizabeth (Miccolis) of Albequerqe, NM; granddaughters Lauren, Morgan, and Haylee Fulmer; and grandson Dylan Fulmer. A memorial has been established with Victory in the Valley in Wichita. Mary H. Fulmer

Bobby, Louann, and Family-
What a dear, dear lady. When I think of Mary, I'll always have the image of that special twinkle in her eyes, her ever-present smile and endless energy. Pretty obvious that the apple didn't fall far from the tree, Bobby. We were so glad to know her and thrilled to work with her a couple of times as she shared her musical talents.
No matter how old you are, it is tough to lose your Mom but let your fondest memories of her help make this an easier time for you.
God bless.

Bobby & Louann,
I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing and will be thinking of you and your families. Mary and Ruth had a radio show on WIBW with my grandfather in the 1950's -- I dearly loved to hear them sing! I was so thrilled to hear them on Louann's radio show a few years back. Mary babysat me after school when you and Britt were toddlers.
I loved Mary's singing and guitar playing, but will always remember her sunny disposition and laugh.

Louann & Bobby...I'll always remember Mary & Ruth coming out to the station after a WIBW Reunion
& recording a song to air on FM. They were so much fun & I always
enjoyed listening to them. I know
Mary was such an important part of
your family over the years. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and
your family.

We have loved Mary since we have known her. She was so special to Court and Judd playing the piano or playing cards! Of the many memories that I will always hold, I will keep three special memories in my heart. The first was many years ago when I heard Mary and Ruthie play the guitar and sing together for the first time in Louann's parents backyard. The second is the pride that Mary effused to be Dylan's "date" for the senior prom in middle school! The third is the absolute joy she had dancing while Bobby and Brit's band performed just a couple of years ago. We will miss Mary, but never will we forget how much joy she brought to our lives!
