Not sure what to say?

May 4, 2009

Greg, as our first born, you were special in your own right. You were the one that dad and I experimented with to make sure we were the kind of parents we wanted to be. You were very special to us in your years growing up. We could always count on you to be there and watch over your brother and sister. You were a very intricate part of our family and will remain so. To have your life taken at an early age is only known by God, but for whatever the reason, he was ready for you to come home to him. We had you for 35 years and now you needed to be with him. You are still surrounded by loved ones, grandparents, great grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and most of all your brother. This is just another venture in the life of you and Chris. We will protect and guide Jack in his years to come and know you will be proud of him as you guide him through life as his guardian angel. Janet is very special to us and we will watch over her. We will keep Jennifer in a special place and near to us as you and Chris watch over her with a guiding hand. Greg, we will miss you, but know that we will love you always.

I'll always cherish being able to go with him and Chris to Arizona for Bob's bachelor party and the memories we made on the trip. He was a great guy and he'll be in my heart forever.

Pat, Ray, and family,
I knew Greg from all the years at the Billard ballpark. I have so many memories of running around that place as a kid.

We stayed in touch over the years at Remington's and then seeing him around town with his other jobs. Greg always remembered me and always had a big bear hug for me! I loved those hugs! He made you feel so important and loved! Greg remembered little things, even if years passed between seeing each other. He remembered my kids and could tell me about how old they should be. What a wonderful, great guy. He will live on forever in our hearts and in the eyes of his baby! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

To the Wadkins Family, Janet, & Jack,
My heart goes out to you all. I knew Greg from school and Remingtons and every where else. Greg was ALWAYS the life of the party. If you ever needed a person to give you advice(even if it was not good advice) or just someone to listen he was the one to go to. Greg is one of the best. God called Greg and Chris up to Heaven though we think it is not fair that they are gone so young and so soon. God has big plans for the boys. They are watching over all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. We will miss them.

Ohhhh Greg. If I could undo what happened... I know you would too.
In your short time here you lived soooooo much! You lived life so large, with so much energy, making so much excitement, and just stretching yourself as far as you could go. I watched you grow from the wonderful young man your parents made, to a really great guy. I loved when you were there to work with us. Always in our lives over the years when there was work to do and fun to be made. Thanks for being a great friend to Dave, and to me. Thanks for your loyalty and the growth you brought to our company. Thanks for spending the semi drive time with me. Never told you how impressed I was with your teaching skills, such disciplined patience and calm sternness. Who knew? Oh, and leaving me to take the drive test with no way to get the rig back to the shop if I didn't pass...sink or swim! I'll remember you carrying truss over your head, letting me help you shoot confetti out of the canons at the bridal fair, helping people ride the bull at Remingtons in your cowboy digs, your trucks, making sure we came all the way from the far side of the Rockies pronto! so as not to miss meeting your newborn son, and so many other times.
Your spirit tells me enough already, thanks and to get on with it, nothing else we can do to fix this.
Well, o.k., here we go, in your honor, hopefully doing life a little more like the way you would have.

Greg was one of those guys who always went out of his way to say hi and nothing but pleasent things to say. I loved it when we would run in to each other after I graduated, it would be like we had never lost touch with each other. My prayers will be with the family he and Chris left behind, they will be missed.

Greg, my friend and cousin you will be missed. All the good times we had together, some of them got one of us in trouble (EXPO Center) but boy did we have fun. You were one of a kind and I am sure that Heaven will never be the same with you and Chris up there.

God Bless the rest of the family

IF God brings it to you He will bring you through it
