News Death Notice

POOLE, Hazel 84, of Springfield passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 in Delaware, Ohio. She was born March 1, 1928 in Yellow Springs the daughter of Pearl and Liala (Sparrow) Shaw and was a Springfield resident most of her life. She retired from Robbins & Myers with forty-two years service, and was a member of the R & M Society Club, Eagles 397, The Union Club and Local 902. Hazel loved crafts and working in her flower garden, and her beloved pets Kasey, Herby, Punky and Betsy. She is survived by two granddaughters and their husbands Angela and Jess Gonzalez of Maumee, Ohio, and Sheila and Brad Halhober of Powell, Ohio; five great grandchildren Rob, Rachel, Isabella, Rileigh and Reis; one sister Helen Hook of West Jefferson, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her two sons Gary and Carl Poole, Jr.; three siblings Gene and Marvin Shaw, and Louise Baker. Private services will be held. The family is being served by the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
