To All David's Family,
I worked with him for the last 18 years off and on in my role at the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center [the old Girls Club/Girls Inc.] We had many good laughs over the years and he was really a wonderful guy. It was always fun to go to Lee for lunch and see him at the LYA with all the kids. He will surely be missed by many, many people.
May your memories see you through this difficult time, sincerely,

I met Dave 17 years ago at the LYA. The citizens of Lee were fortunate to have such a talented man working on behalf of the Lee Youth. Dave
brought the LYA from a sports/recreation center to a respected establishment offering state licensed programing. Not an easy task in that challanging old building! His staff was also blessed with his fine leadership. Our friendship grew out of his gentle, fun loving style and became a family friendship we will cherish forever! Geogia was the added bonus to this friendship and we are grateful indeed for many happy times with them both. My family will miss Dave and will hold our cherished memories of this fine man forever in our hearts. Goodbye dear friend- we love you.

It was very sad to read of David's passing in the paper today. I was on the committee that hired David to direct the LYA. He was responsible for many of the programs offered to the children of Lee. My deepest sympathy to all of his loved ones. David left his mark during his twenty years serving Lee. May he rest in peace.

My dearest friend Carol, Susan and Phil,
I am so sorry to hear that David has passed away. I know how much you all meant to each other and I wanted to express on behalf of Jan, my mom and I, how deeply sorry we are for your loss. This is a time to cherish and cling to the memories you have of Dave and all the wonderful times you shared.
You three probably are completely unaware of how much the rest of us “neighborhood girls” swooned over David when we were young. He was that handsome high school guy, that athletic big brother everyone wished they’d had. Carol, do you remember sneaking into David’s room to spy on his “teenage stuff” and then running for dear life when he’d catch us??!!! He had the coolest music and all that neat sports equipment we loved to mess with, not to mention the interesting grooming paraphernalia. We always seemed to bug him yet he’d often take time to talk to us. Pretty amazing considering he was seventeen and we were what, maybe eleven years old!!! Pretty decent brother if you ask me……Patti
