I only knew Lou through the Annual Choir Festival but it was enough to know how wonderful he was and how much he was loved by many. My thoughts and prayer go out to all who will miss him dearly.

So sorry to hear about such a great loss to the Ocean Grove community. Prayers go out to his many friends and family. I'M sure he has joined with his fellow choir singers like Jay and Joan who have gone before him to prepare a place for him in God's Kingdom and is leading them in a great rendition of "When We All Get to Heaven"

I waited For the Lord on high. I waited And He heard my cry
He pulled me out of my despair. He taught me how to walk, from fear into security; from quicksand to the Rock.
I sing to let the people know, that I have been restored so they will kneel and understand to return and trust in the Lord.

My sincerest condolences to Faith and the rest of the family. I had the privilege of working for Lew and Faith at the Shawmont, as well as singing under Lew in the Auditorium Choir, and I always found him to be upbeat and enthusiastic, a real blessing to those around him. Truly a man of God who will be sorely missed.

My mother, Thelma Naylor of York, PA, attended camp meeting and the choir festival for many years in Ocean Grove. She thought no one could conduct as well as Lew Daniels, and every summer she looked forward to seeing him on the stage conducting the choir and leading the congregation in song. I know her spirit was present as we sang "Blessed Assurance" in honor of Lew Monday night in the Great Auditorium.

Bro Lew rests from his labor of love for his Lord at Ocean Grove but his works do follow him. One of my great memories of OG worship was the grand music tradition in the auditorium lead by Lew. May the God of peace and the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit minister to the Daniels family during this time of transition.

Lew and Faith have been such special people in my life. Singing in the choir and working at the Shawmont were some of my happiest days. Lew set a wonderful example of what it means to walk with Christ. Enjoy eternity, Lew. I hope to sing with you again some day.
