Alton's Obituary

Mr. Alton Kenneth Caulk, Jr., age 72, of Franklinton, NC, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home.

He was born April 21, 1953 in Robeson County to the late Alton Kennith Caulk Sr. and the late Ila Mae Baxley Caulk.

He proudly served in the United States Army for six years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Caulk; five sisters, Jennie Atkinson, Ruby Kempf, Nell Leggett, Libby Branch, and Marilyn Hughes.

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Caulk Johnson (DJ) of Bladenboro, NC and Danielle Caulk Blackwell (Lee) of Bennettsville, SC; a son, Alton Kenneth Caulk, III, (Amber) of Pembroke, NC; three step-sons, Victor White of Franklinton, NC, Nathan White of Zebulon, NC and David Pearce, Jr., (Rachel Ni) of Myrtle Beach, SC; one step-daughter, Denise Pearce (Angel) of Knightdale, NC; ten grandchildren, Morgan Britt (Doug), Patience Blackwell, Harmonie Blackwell, Laken Johnson, Gabriel Blackwell, Melody Blackwell, Angelica Blackwell, Avalyn Caulk, Erin Huffman, and Christian Price; two great-grandchildren, Alena Britt and Scarlett Britt; three brothers-in-laws, Dr. Chuck Kempf, Rev. Ronald Hughes, and Jerry Leggett, also a great host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, and his fur baby, Angel.

A visitation will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00PM with Dr. Chuck Kempf, and Rev. Andrew Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
