Maria De Jesus Reyes

Maria de Jesus Reyes 80 entered eternal rest on July 7, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born March 11, 1945, to Maximo De Leon and Genoviva Gamboa in Matamoros, Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jose Guadalupe Reyes; her husband, Guadalupe Reyes.

Maria leaves behind her son, Ramon Reyes, Jose Reyes (Cynthia); daughter, Maria Isabel Gonzalez, Esmeralda Carrillo (Ricardo); sisters, Olga Zamaripa, San Juana De Leon, Maria De La Luz Olivarez. 

Visitation will begin on Wednesday July 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. led by Bea Lopez and a funeral mass at 7 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit. 

Cremation will follow.
