William's Obituary

William A. "Bill" Tilton, Jr., 88, of Pen Argyl, PA, formerly of Bangor, passed away Thursday, June 26th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA.

William was born in Easton, PA, on January 3, 1937, a son of the late William A. Tilton, Sr., and Eleanor (Crist) Wilson.

He was the husband of Isabelle (Frace) Tilton. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 9th..

Bill was a graduate of Easton High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines. Bill was employed as a welder at the former Ecolaire in Easton, PA, until retiring.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bangor, PA.

In addition to his wife, Isabelle, Bill is survived by two daughters, Lisa Goffredo, and Beth Ronca, wife of Phil, a son, Scott Tilton, a brother, Joseph E. Tilton, two step brothers,  Kurt and Kent Tilton, seven grandchildren, Talia Mazza, Taylor Goffredo, Hunter Tilton, John Andrew Goffredo, Sophia, Gabriela, and Phillip Ronca, three great-grandchildren, Mila, Lucia, and Olivia Mazza. He was predeceased by a step-brother, Keith Tilton

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 9th at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, July 9th, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Bangor, PA.
