Nina Zendarski Obituary
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 25, 2002.
Nina was a ninth grade student at Greater Nanticoke Area High School and a member of St. Adalbert's Church, Glen Lyon.
She was involved with soccer, softball, basketball and cheerleading. She was a beautiful, smart, vibrant and fun loving girl. She loved to do make-up and dress-up. Sometimes she would just start singing and dancing for no reason. If you knew her, you loved her and now we all have a big void in our hearts. She also gave the best hugs ever.
Shine bright like a diamond. We love you to the moon and back, Mom and Dad.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Zendarski Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Alfred and Anne Marie Gurnari.
Surviving are her parents, Robert and Patricia Gurnari Zendarski; her siblings, Ryan, Kyle and Chaquana; her grandmother, Margaret (Peg) Zendarski; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be deeply missed by everyone.
A Memorial Mass will be held at noon Monday in St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, main site, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. James R. Nash as celebrant.
Private interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke.

I know the pain you ar going through because I also lost my son through suicide and bullying & social media was a part of the reason.

Patti, Bob, extended family and friends....God bless and protect you as you try to cope, grieve and process this heart wrenching tragedy. Patti, I fondly remember the loving stories of Nina you always shared when we sat by each other at work. You have so much love for each of your children, and I can't even begin to find the right words to express my sincere condolences for the loss of this precious soul......please know that you are in my heart, thoughts and prayers. I absolutely commend you for your strength and willingness to publicly make this tragedy known in order to bring awareness to ALL OF US of the horrific dangers of social media, especially for our youth....the internal struggle within each of us is very real.....and I believe that the early teen age years are the hardest. Honey, I pray God's peace bless and protect you every minute of every day. I pray God gives you His wisdom going forward so that somehow, someway Nina's tragic situation will be turned around to save the lives of many children from similar results. I love you, sweetheart.

If there were words, I'm sure I would find them; and having found those words, I would know what to do. I would arrange the very best, the most meaningful and truly beautiful in a verse of compassion and consolation and offer it to you to comfort you.
But there are no words, at least none that I know of, to truly express my deep sorrow for the tragic loss of your lovely Nina Elizabeth - no words to relieve, however slightly, the pain that has been thrust upon you.
"Weep not for me, but for your children," Jesus said to the women of Jerusalem as he struggled to carry the heavy cross that had been thrust upon him. Please know my tears will mingle with the tears of many who are weeping with you and for you as you struggle to deal with Nina's loss.

I knew Nina very well, she was such a ray of sunshine and I wish this didn't happen. I can't believe it, I don't think I'll ever get over it because she wasn't suppose to go so early. I had a deep sense of sadness in my heart on Friday when my co worker told me we lost another patient. I work for Nina,s ortodontist. I never had the pleasure of getting the know this beautiful young lady. We are all so saddened by this great loss of your sweet baby girl.
