Tamms, Erwin G. "Bud" Entered this earthly life January 4, 1931. Beloved husband for 58 years of Ruth (nee Hubbell). Dear father of George (Gloria) Tamms, Judy (David) Watry and Sandra (Bob) Cristan. Loving grandfather of Lara Tamms, Sam (Katie) Watry, Becca (Justin) Hicks, Emma and Tessa Cristan and great-grandfather to Grayson and Tierney Hicks. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Bud established Tamms Lithography in 1953. He served as a State Assemblyman from 1968-70. Bud was involved in numerous activities throughout his life including playing the baritone with many community bands and flying as a private pilot. He had been a member of Mount Carmel Lutheran Church and was an active member at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church. He was also a member at the Hayes Lodge (formerly Sawyer Lodge). Above all, he enjoyed time with his family. Bud continued his journey to glory with Christ, October 21, 2011, at the age of 80. Visitation Thursday, October 27 from 11:00AM until time of Service at 12:45PM with a reception to follow at ST. MATTHEW'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1615 Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Luther Manor Foundation, Zilber Hospice, Brookfield Police Reserves, The Milwaukee Rescue Mission, New Horizons Band of Waukesha or a charity of your choice are appreciated.
