Not sure what to say?

Today something made me think of Lori. I haven't seen or spoken to her in years. I decided to Google her name and was so shocked and sadden to see she had passed away in June. The photo pictured was of this beautiful vibrant woman that had the most incredible smile! She looked the same as she did in High School. We had so much fun together in Jr. High and High School even after she moved from the Valley to Thousand Oaks we still got together and stayed in touch for a long time.
My Heart...

Lori
I was devastated to hear of your passing. I remember like it was yesterday the first time we met and the dinners we shared and lunch at Joffery s the day the waiter said how much he loved your music and you said oh I am not her. I just look like she does and we laughed.
But in my eyes you will always be a star

Lori, What I always appreciated was your sense of humor and your kindness and loyalty to Susan -- you were a great friend. I'm glad we got to see you in New York City so recently. I will always recall you leading the macarena line at our wedding.

I still picture you driving us teenagers around LA in that Cadillac convertible so long ago. Seems like yesterday and a million years ago at the same time.

My dear and cherished friend for a quarter century, for the past 2½ years you had been the rock on which I have leaned since Judi was diagnosed with her terminal illnesses. Your unwavering love and support -- and the twisted sense of humor we shared -- have helped me as nothing else to deal with that incalculable burden.

You more than deserved the love you finally found with John, and I was...

We truly miss you Jordan! We loved your big smile and your everyday blessings you've given to my family. You are truly the kindest and loving person.

Love Always,
Danny, Susan and the kids

Rest in peace, Lori! Our whole family loved you! Mickey & Jack Shapiro & Family

To a sweet, generous friend forever

To Lori - my close friend since we were teenagers -though we were bicoastal - you were always there for me: driving me around, listening, laughing, supporting my writing dreams through decades of struggle in Michigan, New York and L.A. - in every way you possibly could be. I feel lucky we were able to spend hours together this spring. I thank God that you left the world without pain, in the safe, warm, comfortable home you found with John, the love of your life, happy to be planning your...
