I enjoyed watching Jess's auctions on ebay to see the amps he restored. If the time had been right, one would have been mine. Sorry for your loss. All the Bass ! Bryan Van Vlymen from Indianapolis

Jess was talented and creative in making products so that others could make music. But most importantly for me he was a wonderful person that I was blessed to call my friend.

Great loss indeed! Mr Oliver's inventions and contributions to the music industry kept food on the family table when we were kids as my dad supported us with his Baby Bass and B-15. So sad to hear of the great loss.

Jess was a very special person. I had the honor of meeting him when he worked on two of my Ampeg B-15's in 2007. His wife Betty took a picture of us in the basement workshop. I am so glad I have that picture. He will be missed.
