Uncle Bob was a unique person who was always fun to see. We loved his sense of humor and his love of his family. He was so proud of all of you and supportive of the rest of us too. I loved that he was full of life busy playing golf, bowling, taking cruises and visiting friends and family. He was such a good person with a mischievous spark in his eye, and we already miss him dearly. I think he and mom are having a good time in heaven now. We love you Uncle Bob.

Uncle Bob, you are loved and missed. I planned on going to WA to celebrate yours (as well as your brother's and nephew's) birthday this August. Of course I will still be there, we just won't be able to laugh and joke with each other face-to-face.

Your memory continues to live with all of your family here in Chicago.

Bob was a very special man who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He was a pleasure to be around and always added to any gathering. The picture is Bob with three of his retired coworkers at a luncheon. Rest in peace Bob.

Robert "Gramps" Vaughn was a energetic, humorous, interesting man. When Melody married Scott, I had the opportunity to meet Robert. What a friendly, joyous person. I know all of his family will truly miss him, but have great memories of him. My sympathy to you as you experience the sorrow of losing him. Love, Marijke
