I met Delia over 25 years ago when her daughter Luisa welcomed me into their home and have been part of the family ever since then. Delia was like a mother to me and a Grandma to my children, we embraced her warmth and love.
I will miss watching her cook and knit, it was fascinating to see how talented she was with her hands.
Delia will be forever in our hearts.

February 11, 2017

It is my belief that my mom is resting in peace now. She was lucky enough to live out her life the way she felt like. She overcame many struggles. She enjoyed many moments of happiness. She always did her best to make all of those around her happy. Since she is of Italian decent, she just loved to feed people! If you did not eat what she made, she would say, What's wrong with the food, eat! LOL After a while, we all just surrendered and ate. LOL She worked until she was 81 years old as a food demo person at Costco Wholesale. She loved feeding all of the customers, especially the kids. LOL She took ill a few years ago. She managed to do her best. She passed quietly in her sleep at 85 years old. We should all be so lucky, huh?

We made an EVERIPEDIA page for my mom. You can do one for any of your loved ones that have passed. I was touched when the team did this.

Any prayers for my mom DELIA, would be appreciated.

At work, Delia always took charge and made sure that everyone was happy. She loved having her new friends come and see her everyday to eat! She always was doing the Italian samples. She was known as the "little old Italian lady." She always held on to her opinions. We loved working with her.

Delia always looked amazing!

My mother and I were at peace with one another. We shared many things together. She was a person that felt very strongey about things. She always made Luisa and I do as she says! lol I will miss my mother. I am glad I had the chance to spend many years with her, as Luisa did. We both helped my mother daily and she appreciated it. I will miss her. I will always have her in my heart and prayers.

PADRE NOSTRO

OUR FATHER
Padre nostro che sei nei cieli,
sia santificato il tuo nome;
venga il tuo regno,
sia fatta la tua volontà,
come in cielo così in terra.
Dacci oggi il nostro pane quotidiano,
rimetti a noi i nostri debiti,
come noi li rimettiamo ai nostri debitori
e non ci indurre in tentazione,
ma liberaci dal male.

Amen.
