Jennifer Corral Obituary
A Mass of the Resurrection for Jennifer Elizabeth Corral, 11, of Vacaville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vacaville.
Father Michael McFadden will officiate. Burial will follow in the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Jennifer passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2006, in Children's Hospital in Oakland.
Born Oct. 19, 1994, in Vallejo, she was a lifelong resident of Vacaville. She was a student at Browns Valley Elementary School, was student of the year, and was also a writer for the school's newspaper and took an award for her interview with Andy Sheehan, regarding his brother, Casey Sheehan, killed in action in Iraq. She was a lover of music and enjoyed playing the viola, was a great drawer and loved to write.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, Ana Maria and Henry Corral of Vacaville; maternal grandparents, Giodano and Olga Serra of Vacaville; paternal grand-father, Fernando B. Corral of Duarte; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave., Vacaville.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vacaville.

Jennifer, your life ended way too soon, but our faith tells us that you are in a safe and happy place with God. My deepest sympathy and prayers for Henry Corral and Ana. I work with Henry everyday...our lockers are next to each other. We've shared stories many a day. Now we have a common bond, as my son passed away on Christmas Day 2004. Henry and Jennifer were there for me at that time...and I, now, for him. I would like to invite all to join us in prayers for Jennifer in a novena(prayers for the dead). We started the prayers Tuesday evening, June 6, at 7:30 PM. They will continue for nine days, until Wednesday. The novena is being held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vacaville. Please join us in prayer at that time even if you can't attend. The exception to the 7:30 time will be on Saturday when it will be at 1:00 PM.
