Obituary A Time to be Born: Deborah Lynn Brown Jones was born in Ocala, Florida on January 9, 1957 to the Late James Brown,, Sr., and the Late Dorothy Lee Parker. A Time to Grow: Deborah was raised in Reddick, Florida. She moved to Ocala, Florida when she got older. She was loved, cherished, and nurtured by all who knew her. A Time to Learn: Deborah was a graduate of North Marion High School class of 1975 and attended Santa Fe Community College. A Time to Serve: Deborah received Christ as her savior at an early age and serviced in many areas of Christian Ministries until her health declined. A Time to Enjoy: Deborah enjoyed going to the family reunions and enjoyed raising some of the families' children who have their own children now. A Time to Die: "And as it is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgement." Hebrews 9:27 The death angel came to Deborah in the afternoon hours of June 1, 2025. Her transition from earth to heaven was now completed and her journey was ended in a sweet sweet rest. Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, James Brown, Jr., and her sisters, Emma Lee Thomas and Donnie Wise. A Time to Mourn: Leaving to celebrate her life and cherish her memories is her sisters: Minister Barbara Harris, Sharon Brown, and Janice Wise-Harris all of Reddick, Fl; Aunts: Alice Johnson of Shady Grove, Fl and Johnnie Mae Green of Zuber, Fl; and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
