Not only do I well remember Bill´s larger-than-life personality as a classmate at Brown, where our paths often crossed later at Brown reunions and fund-raising events, but it was during Bill´s tenure as director of the Pan American Society in Boston that I met Martha Montero, a colleague of Maria´s at BU, who has been my life´s partner for the last 45 years. Bill´s immersion into Latin American family life very much mirrors our own and we extend our sincere condolences to all his family, especially to Maria. Bill lived an extraordinary and varied life and leaves many memories with all he touched. Hasta pronto, Tio Bill.
