William Rogers Obituary

Mr. William Matthew Rogers, age 58, affectionately known as "Bozo", passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He is survived by one son, Rayshawn Rice of Spartanburg; one daughter, Lakesha Calwile of Fountain Inn; three brothers, Hugh Lee (Brenda) Rogers of Mauldlin, Lee Clarence (Theresa) Rogers of Fountain Inn and Robert Earl Rogers of Gray Court; five sisters, Betty Rogers of Greenville, Maggie Martin of Fountain Inn, Reverend Patricia (Byron) Moss of Simpsonville, Darlene Bailey of Simpsonville and Marilyn Lloyd of Fountain Inn; two grandsons, Jayden Lamir Lincoln and Jayden Nasir Lincoln of Spartanburg; a special friend, Peggy Moseley and grandson M.J. Geter of Fountain Inn and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Simpsonville, SC. Public Viewing will be Monday, June 30, 2025 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn. Interment will be at a later date at M J Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC. The family is at the home of a sister, Maggie Martin, 1903 Country Apple Court, Fountain Inn, SC. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
