Saugus - Elise Marie Doherty, a lifelong resident of Saugus, Massachusetts, passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 37. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph A. Doherty and Pamela L. (Greene)Doherty.
Born on November 25, 1987, Elise attended Saugus public schools and completed her education through a home school program. She later pursued a career serving others as a home health aide and personal care attendant, roles in which her selflessness, compassion, and generosity were truly evident. Elise had an innate ability to bring joy, warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging to those around her will be remembered as one of her greatest gifts. Her gentle and kind heart touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Elise had a passion for journaling, an appreciation for movies, and cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She was a beloved daughter, sister, fiancée, and mother. Besides her parents is survived by her siblings, Joseph A. Doherty Jr. and Samantha M. Soto (Doherty); her fiancé, Sean Coffey; and her beloved daughter, Emily Grace. Elise's kindness, gentle nature, and remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
Elise will be remembered for her unwavering selflessness, her boundless generosity, and the immense love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on, cherished forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to High Point Treatment Center, an organization that held great significance in Elise's heart.
