Gregory John Ritz

Gregory John Ritz 53, Zionsville, died Jan. 12, 2003. Services: 10 a.m. Jan. 15 in Zionsville Fellowship, with calling there from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan 14. Burial: Lizton K. of P. Cemetery The work most dear to Greg's heart was founding The Summit Academy, a classical Christian school, where he served as Headmaster. Prior to this he worked as a systems analyst for ASI/Safeco, as a principal for Roachdale Baptist Academy, and as a math teacher for the Tri West School system. He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a defense language specialist. His degrees include a B.A. from Hamilton College and an MS from Indiana University. He loved to play tennis and to sing and play guitar. Contributions can be made to the Ritz family through Zionsville Fellowship. Survivors: wife Pamala; children Tanya Kirby, Tyler Ritz, Benjamin Ritz, Zachary Ritz, Matthew Ritz, Thatcher Ritz, Liesl Ritz, Alexandru Ritz, and Marta Ritz; parents Mary and John Ritz; brothers Christopher and John Ritz; granddaughters Raven Ritz-Lowe and Payton Orr.
