John Arless Sexton

With profound sadness, we announce the heavenly transition of John Arless Sexton, age 47, of Springfield Twp, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Fairfield, Ohio. He was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1977, to Gary Sexton and Marilyn Riley Sexton in Cincinnati, Ohio. John was educated at Cincinnati Public School and Hamilton City School District. He met the love of his life, Wendi Thomas, and they spent 30 years together and were joined in Holy Matrimony on July 7, 1999. John was a painter, and he loved to paint. John was a family man and was a loving, devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved spending time with his grandsons, Jaxon, Jameson, and Justice. John loved his family and often hosted family events. John is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Riley Sexton, and his son, Quincy Thomas, He leaves to cherish his memory: His devoted wife of 24 years Wendi Sexton; daughter Jessica Sexton, father Gary Sexton; three grandsons, Jaxon York, Jameson York, and Justice York; two brothers Russel Sexton and Danny Sexton; two uncles, Jack Sexton, and Greg Sexton; and aunt Cynthia Lynn. John leaves a host of cousins nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
