Mable Lee Robinson

Mable Lee Robinson, 84 years old, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. She was born in Newborn, Alabama, the daughter of Eddie and Mable Jones. Mable Robinson was a devoted wife to Sam Robinson, a loving mother to eight children, and a friend to many. She was born a Baptist and lived her life as such. She was a mother to more than just eight and a grandmother to hundreds. She retired from the Cincinnati Board of Education after 19 years of service. She loved shopping-and what she loved even more was shopping with someone else's money. She is now reunited with her husband, Sam Robinson, and her children: Joseph Jones and his wife, Juanita Jones, along with their children (Joseph Jr., Pam, Whitney-husband Dewayne-Marshe, and Markel) and nine grandchildren; Barbara Wyche and her children (Vada, Harvest, and Fred) and six grandchildren; Nathaniel Robinson and his children (Joshua, Alisha, Nashonda, and Nathaniel Jr.) and twelve grandchildren; Joyce Ann Robinson and her children (Nikita, Unique, and Ronald) and four grandchildren; Steven Allen Robinson and his child (Steven Robinson Jr.) and two grandchildren; Jackie Thomassey and her children (Janay and Jessica) and six grandchildren; Samuel Robinson and his child, Antonio Robinson; and Lafrance Robinson and his child, Leigha Robinson. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and one surviving brother, Jessie Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Robinson; her sons, Nathaniel Robinson, Steven Allen Robinson, and Samuel Robinson; her daughter, Joyce Ann Robinson; her great-grandson, Laverl Harden; and nine of her siblings. Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
