Albert Roque Rebote

Albert Roque Rebote passed away on 27 June 2025 at the age of 69. He was born to Alfredo Rebote, originally from the Philippines, and Elena Rebote, who was born in Venezuela and was of both Filipino and Venezuelan descent. As a first-
generation American, Albert was proud of his heritage and tried in his own way to carry forward the values and sacrifices of his immigrant family. Albert's life was significantly shaped by his service in the United States Air Force, a commitment that spanned 28 years and culminated in his retirement with the rank of Major. This profound experience not only influenced his character but also instilled a tradition of service that his children, both of whom are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force, proudly continue.
Albert, a man of few words, was deeply committed to his independence and the pursuit of knowledge. He found joy in simple routines, such as playing golf or cheering for his favorite team, the New York Jets. In the years leading up to his passing, he furthered his education, earning a master's degree, a testament to his lifelong dedication to learning.
His faith, though quiet, was a significant part of his life. Albert's life had its complexities, but it was grounded by the love and care of his family. Now, they carry his memory forward with a strength and love that is a testament to the resilience and unity of the Rebote family.
He is deeply missed by his wife, Terri Rebote, his children, Albert Rebote and Nena Rebote, and his cherished grandchildren, Aden Walters and Robert Ferguson, who brought him joy and pride. He also leaves behind his brother, Alfredo Rebote, and his sister, Emily Catto, whom he held in lasting affection.
A memorial service to honor Albert's life will be held at a later date, allowing time for his daughter to return home from her deployment. The family deeply appreciates the support, patience, and compassion shown during this personal time of remembrance. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to VFW Post 7560.
