Alfred Aycock Obituary

Alfred "Al" Avery Aycock Jr., of Atlantic Beach, NC, passed peacefully on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at the age of 53. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Avery Aycock Sr.

Born on August 7, 1971, in Smithfield, North Carolina, Al was always an adventurous and very intuitive soul. Brilliant, strong, and always industrious, he started his own company AAA Home Improvement and Repair, in order to serve the Crystal Coast community, he came to love so dearly. His clients were his family, his friends, and his folks.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Selma Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dougald McLaurin officiating.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Creech, step dad, Bill Creech, sisters; Lisa Aycock, Crystal Neathery, and January Severini, nephews Chason Severini and Xander Clark, as well as his beloved niece, Xayla Clark and great niece Emersyn Severini.

He is also survived by his last living grandparent, Margaret Baker of Smithfield, NC, and we'd be remiss if we didn't mention Al's baby girl Doodle Anne who wants her daddy to know she misses him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Duke Cancer Center, 20 Duke Medicine Circle, Durham, NC 27710.

I'm sorry to hear about Al's passing but also glad he's no longer suffering. Condolences to the family. It would be remiss not to include Mo and Madisyn who loved him very much and will miss him tremendously.
