Antonio "Tony" Garcia August 17, 1935 – April 23rd 2025
Tony Garcia, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and cherished Toto passed away at the age of 89. Born on August 17, 1935, on the island of Faial in the Azores. Tony lived a life rooted in love, faith, hard work, and deep devotion to his family. Tony married the love of his life Maria on August 17, 1957. That would be the beginning of a beautiful partnership that would last a lifetime. Together they moved to the United States in 1959 filled with hope and dreams for a better future for their family. They welcomed their first daughter, Debora in 1962, and their second daughter, Teresa in 1964. Tony and Maria began their dairy farming journey in Kingsburg in 1972. Five years later, they moved the dairy to Hanford where they planted permanent roots and built a life full of love, community, and hard work. The farm flourished and so did their family. Tony, affectionately known as "Toto," poured his heart into his land, his cows, and most of all, his family. A man of few words but immense love, Tony was steady, strong, and deeply devoted to those he held dear. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Maria, his daughters, Debora and fiancé Todd Jarvis, Teresa and husband Brett Garcia, grand daughters Megan Dutra, Brittany and husband Tony Bettencourt. Lauren and husband Thomas Fantozzi and grandson Anthony and wife Jenna Garcia. His great-grandchildren Everly, Ryker, Jett,Blakely and baby boy Fantozzi joining us in June. Tony's legacy lives on in the family he built, the farm he nurtured, and the love he gave so freely. His quiet strength and enduring love will never be forgotten. The family misses their farmer deeply and holds his memory close in their hearts forever.
A private ceremony will be held to honor our beloved Toto.
