Aster is survive by his loving companion Glenda Hayes; his daughter Crystal Gayle (Tim) France of Jeffersonville and his son Shawn Lee Lawson of Mt. Sterling; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and 1 sister Martha Morris of Hazard, KY.
Besides his parents, Aster was preceded in death by 3 brothers Harold Lawson, Carl Lawson and Alvin Lawson; 2 sisters Brenda Johnson and Rita Ivey.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals, 1002 Woodford Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
