Barbara Ann Bruner Davis

Mrs. Barbara Ann Bruner Davis, age 88, of Rome, GA, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at her home at Riverwood Senior Living facility.
Mrs. Davis was born in Tallulah Falls, GA, on October 11, 1936, daughter of the late Wilburn Edward Bruner and the late Annelle Born Bruner. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Eugene Davis, her sister, Carolyn Johns, and by a son-in-law, Jeff Odom. Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Rome High School, Class of 1954. Her ministry was her life's mission. For over 30 years, Mrs. Davis was the founder and director of "Ministries of Love", a crisis ministry located here in Rome. She also taught Bible classes in the community and spoke at Women's Retreats, conferences and church services throughout the North and Southeast. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and relished in time spent with her family. Mrs. Davis was a long-time member of West Rome United Methodist Church (now West Rome Methodist Church) and is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for eternity.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Alison Dillen of Cartersville and Lisa Odom of Lindale; 2 granddaughters, Breanna Johnson (Gevin), and Anna Dillen; 3 great grandchildren, Willow Johnson, Blakely Johnson and Wrenly Johnson; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Walton and Chaplain Keith Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Les Connell officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12pm until service time at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel.
