Barbara Johnson Obituary

Barbara Jean Johnson

Born: May 23, 1942 | Died: June 4, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Barbara Johnson of Fort Atkinson, WI, who left us on June 4th, 2025 at the age of 83.

Barbara was born on May 23rd, 1942 in Greeneville Tennessee to James Carson and Lula Foshie. She married Randall Johnson on February 28, 1976.

Barb was a devoted mother, beloved family member, and loyal friend. Her warmth, strength, and quiet wisdom touched all who knew her.

She spent her life caring for others, always offering a listening ear, a warm meal, and a kind word or hard truth when needed. She was a woman of grace and quiet determination, known for her love of her family. She enjoyed sports, bowling, sewing, and remodeling houses. She enjoyed in her earlier life being an LPN, secretary, and a Real Estate Agent until she decided to stay home and enjoy her family.

She is survived by her three children: Daughter Angie (Brad) Suter, Sons Marty (Diana) Bowers and Mike (Laura) Bowers.

Her grandchildren Lindsay Suter Harter, Chad Suter, Danielle (Chris) Spiess, Josh Bowers, Colton Suter, Cody (Alissa) Bowers, Matthew and James Bowers.

Great grandchildren Gavin, Kaylee, Candan, Rhaea, Rylee, Lily, Troy, and Beckett.

Siblings: Johnny (Diane) Foshie, Jerry (Brenda) Foshie, and Judy (LaRue) Nease, Brother-in-law Frank Newton, and niece Linda Laws who was like a sister.

And many nieces and nephews.

All who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Johnson in 2021, parents Jams Carson and Lula Foshie, mother and father in law Earle and Dorothy Johnson, her siblings Buck Foshie, Lena Newton, Reilly (Lucille) Foshie, JC (Betty) Foshie, Benny Foshie, Charlie, and Hope Foshie.

Special thanks to Vintage on the Ponds staff and Agrace Hospice for their loving care.
