Betty M. Gutierrez, born on April 24, 1966, in Albuquerque, NM, passed away on January 24, 2025, in her hometown. She was a devoted caregiver, a profession that reflected her nurturing spirit and dedication to the well-being of others. Betty was a proud graduate of Valley High School, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by compassion and a commitment to help those around her.
Betty had a rich and fulfilling life, filled with love and creativity. she loved arts and crafts, and cooking with family.
Betty is survived by her beloved sons, Dominic Gallegos and Jonathan Gutierrez, who carry forward her spirit and values. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Chris Gutierrez, Linda Chavez, Carol Gutierrez, and Carmen (Dolly) Quintana. Her loyal companion, Blackie, will also miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Gutierrez, and father, Reynaldo, as well as her brothers Ray Gutierrez Jr, George Gutierrez, and Salvester Gutierrez, her sisters Cathy Montez and Joann Sandoval, along with her nephew Michael Montoya.
Betty M. Gutierrez will be remembered for her warm heart, her artistic talents, and the indelible mark she left on the lives of those who knew her. As we celebrate her life, we honor the love she shared and the legacy of kindness and compassion that she instilled in her family and friends.
