My heart felt condolences to the Davis family and friends. Social, Caring, Loving, and Easy Going all come to mind on who Billy was. A genuine nice guy that was real and no nonsense. I will always remember your sweet smile and great laugh. You´re sadly missed but forever in our hearts and will cherish the memories for years to come. I see you in your flip flops and catching endless waves. Peace and Love, Tricia

Billy and I were not close but we knew each other and always talked when we saw each other. We went to Bellaire together. He was always kind and interested in what others had to say. I am sad I did not get to know him better.

What a pleasure and honor to have known BD! He was a lifelong friend to my Dad Steve Onstad and we always played in charity golf tournaments together. He was the first to teach me the game poison to pass the time on the tee box as play was always slow, of course I think I may have beat him once over all the tournaments we played in. I will always remember his joyous laugh, cheerful spirit and he truly loved life.

Billy was generous and kind. AND he knew how to initiate fun. From baby powder/ baby lotion fights to inventing the QUACK system to keep us together on the ski lifts. I had the luxury of an annual visit when he gathered friends to ski. Always in late January. I´ll miss him terribly and my fifth week of the year will feel empty without his visit

Met Billy and his family while living in Houston and attending UH. We stayed in touch over the years with skiing, fishing and hiking in Colorado. His sense of humor and friendship will be missed.

I first met Billy in the 1980's when he worked for State Chemical. He called on the business I worked for and we became good friends both on and off the job for many years. We played organized softball, racquetball and golf together. We also worked many golf tournaments associated with the NFL Players Association and Bum Phillips. Billy was a blast to be around with great wit and energy. Rest in peace Bro, I will miss you.

My Uncle Billy was the my only blood uncle on either side. That being said I don't think I could have wished for a better one. He always showed up at my sport events, gave the best gifts, and put me in place during my rebellious teen years. Lol he told me to be nicer to his sister because the next call he gets he'll put knots on my head quicker than I can count them. I've always looked up to him and admired how quick and witty he was. I gave up on trying to crush his hand in a hand shake like he always did me I never came close and I'm a beast now. you will be missed I love you uncle Billy.

Kathy and family, I´m so sorry for your (our) loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
It seems inconceivable to me that Billy is gone. He was THE person whose presence was larger than life in so many people´s lives. Having worked together through three different companies, my greatest gift from him was having a coworker relationship develop into a life long friendship. Even after our last career paths parted, we´ve had a standing agreement to call each other every Friday for the last 25 years, just to share a joke or catch up from the previous week. His quick "snap backs" would keep you on your toes and his ability to smile big and make you laugh would cheer you up instantly.
He was one of the rare "good guys"! I´m so grateful we had our last Friday call before your trip and hope you are now traveling the universe my friend! I will most definitely miss you.

I met Billy in 1995 when he called on me for chemical / cleaning orders. He would visit monthly and always have a new "blond" joke to share.. This continued until I retired in 2022.. He was always smiling , laughing and pleasant.. very personable and quick wit. Rest in peace my friend.....

I´m glad we talked that last time. Every year, birthdays, or just when one of us would get the urge.
I´m glad you were in my life. You taught me some good to great things. My lifetime love of Taj Mahal, BB King, and Little Feat all started from your introduction. Your quick wit and ability to lighten any situation was amazing to watch. You were always solid, and I never think I thanked you enough for the class ring.
I´m glad you went out doing something for someone you loved. It was so you Billy.
See you when I get there. Cheers mate!

I knew Billy through my late husband, Bob Cannon. They were classmates at Bellaire.
I have fond memories of helping Billy create a stained glass lamp shade. We worked together in my workshop over many weeks. The lampshade turned out beautifully. Tiffany would have been impressed!
I´m so sad to hear of his passing.

Billy was our only brother, and he wore that title with pride. He loved his four sisters deeply, always stayed close, and cared about every part of our lives. He kept us laughing, kept us close, and made sure we always knew how much he loved us. He was the best brother-kind, devoted, and an amazing person.
This was his last visit to NYC last summer June, 2024. I miss him Jackie

Billy was the first of five children and the only boy! When I arrived two years later my mother walked into the nursery and could not even see me in the bassinets. Billy had shared all of his toys with me and was so proud to share. He was the best big brother. After our dad died young Billy naturally took over as a shepherd for his four younger sisters. Billy was great at keeping in touch with all of us. He made the effort to call one to two times a month to know what was going on in each of our lives. His friends might say the same. He was a show up guy! His nieces and nephews adored him! He taught them magic tricks and he loved to tease them. He loved dogs. He was a brother to his friends. To know him was to love him.
