Billy Joe Woods, Jr., 62, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away peacefully on July 02, 2025.
Billy was born on December 17, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, he was the beloved son of the late Virindia Livingston and Billy Woods Sr.
Billy was a dedicated over the road truck driver who took great pride in his work and traveled across the country doing what he loved. Beyond the road, he was known for his passion for music and his loyalty as a lifelong fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. He had also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Billy is survived by loving daughters, Bria and Bionca, and his cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Billy also leaves behind his six siblings-Michelle, Terry, Randolph, Eric, LaShawnda, and Desma- along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his beloved wife, Kim Woods.
His strength, warmth, and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 12PM-1PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will begin at 1PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial with military honors will take place at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
