Brenda Joyce Brown, 73 of Holden, Missouri passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at her home.
Brenda was born November 22, 1951 in Camp Polk, Louisiana the daughter of Ted S. Berry and Clarissa M. (Tripp) Berry. Following high school, she earned her CNA degree. Brenda was united in marriage to Terry J. Brown, Sr. on May 27, 1967 in St. Louis. The couple resided in Granite City, Illinois for several years. They later moved to Texas for a time, prior to returning to Missouri, namely Belton. Next, they resided in Lee's Summit prior to moving to Holden in 2005. Her hobbies included crocheting and sewing. She was a devout member of First Baptist Church in Holden. Brenda especially cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons: Wesley D. Brown (Jennifer) of Holden, MO and Ricky S. Brown; two sisters: Barbara S. Wall of Brooklet, GA and Belinda D. "Darlene" Benson, of Georgia; brother: Samuel E. "Eddy" Berry of Georgia; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry on July 3, 2018; both parents; son: Terry J. Brown, Jr. and two grandsons: James and Terry.
There will be a private graveside service held at Rock Springs Cemetery, north of Holden.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
