Bruce W. Brooks, age 71, of Sheffield Lake, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025. He was born December 17, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents James and Jeanne (nee Hill) Brooks.
Bruce grew up in Cleveland and has been a 37-year resident of Sheffield Lake. He retired from Ferris Processing and Trading having been a heavy machine operator. Bruce had a fabulous sense of humor and enjoyed every ounce of life to the fullest. He was a constant DIY-er, always working on the family home both inside and out. Bruce enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife Deborah where he could enjoy fishing, canoeing, and walking through the beauty of nature. Above everything, he loved his family and friends and had a special love for animals.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Deborah (nee Sowders) Brooks; loving daughter Amanda Roman; devoted siblings Pat Taskey, Sandy (Marty) MacIntyre, Mickey (Donna) Brooks, and Beverly Potash; brother-in-law Jamie Sowders; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Brian Brooks.
