She is preceded in death by her 2 sons, William B. and Robert Williams; parents, Equilla and Alex Williams; grandson, Justin Benefield; 4 brothers, Alex, Milton, Jerry, and Terry Williams; and sister, Francis Thomas.
Carolyn is survived by her 4 children, Shannon Williams, Sharon Benefield (Justin), Manuel Williams, and Rodney Williams (Maylene); 2 sisters, Equilla Williams and Roselee Stewart; and 3 brothers, Manuel, Willie, and Pernell Williams.
She also leaves to cherish her memories her 9 granddaughters, Jaquel Benefield, Ro'Shonda and Ronajha Mitchell, Rodniesha, Tatiana, Racquel and Rockiesha Williams, A'nyla Bagneris and Manuleah; 6 grandsons, Ricky Myles, Jamal Benefield, Jorden, Mayson, Tyler, and Maximus Williams; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kamryn Mossi, Bethany Benefield, and Andrew Benefield; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are all invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, April 17, 2025, 10:00AM, at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave, NOLA. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM until the hour of service. Interment Holt Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
