Born on February 18, 1959, in Bridgeport, Texas, Carrie was a shining light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. A proud graduate of Springtown High, Carrie dedicated her career as a phlebotomist at Texas Health Alliance, where she was known for her loving and caring nature. Her approach to life was defined by a genuine passion for helping others, a trait that endeared her to colleagues and patients alike. Carrie brought warmth and compassion to her work, leaving a lasting impact on those she served. On April 7, 1983, she married her devoted husband, Charles Green, in a ceremony held in Decatur, Texas. Their love and partnership crafted a beautiful tapestry of memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of their family. Together, they nurtured a family filled with laughter and love.

Carrie was a proud mother to her three sons: Jeremy Watson of Navasota, Levi Watson and his wife Jessica of Navasota, and Wesley Green of Springtown. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Holdyn and Kylin Green of Springtown, Emma, Josiah, Lucas, Cullen, and Zeke Watson of Navasota, and Dallas Watson of Navasota. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever. Carrie is also survived by her beloved brother Glen Sherwood of Eufala, Oklahoma, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends who were touched by her genuine spirit and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Dorothy (Fretwell) and Howard Sherwood, and her brother Jimmy Sherwood. They welcomed her into their arms as she journeyed peacefully from this world.

Carrie Sue Green leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength. Her memory will forever be cherished by all whose lives she touched, reminding us to live with the same love and care that she shared so freely.
