Daniel Hernandez, age 70, of Plainview, passed away, Saturday, August 30, 2025. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada. Interment will follow at the Floydada Cemetery. Viewing will be 12:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.

Daniel was born June 5, 1955 in Artesia, New Mexico to Angela and Tommy Hernandez. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family playing dominos and cards, and different games. Danny loved his family time and playing with the kids, he enjoyed hearing all kinds of music, especially Selena and Elvis. He would always like to help mom and everyone in need. Danny enjoyed traveling to New Mexico to visit family. He loved to watch tv and having his coffee right beside him. He was the biggest cowboy fan that you would meet. Danny was the kindest brother you could ever have and loved everyone.

He is preceded in death by his father; Tommy Hernandez; his mother, Angela Hernandez; brother, Tony Hernandez; his aunt, Enedina and uncle, Armando Hernandez.

Danny is survived by his sister; Nina and Hector Perez, brother, Erbey and Mary Molinar; his favorite uncle, Armando (Emma) Hernandez; nephews, Andrew Perez, Justin (Elizabeth) Perez, Michael (Tia) Molinar, Erbey (Rena) Molinar III, April and Eric Hernandez, Jr. and Aaron (Hannaha) Hernandez, great nephews and nieces, Marcus (Karyme) Perez, Abigail (Alex) Flores, Mariah Perez, Ava Perez, Braydon Tonche, Chloe Molinar, Reese Molinar, Savanha Molinar, Sofie Molinar, Salem Molinar, Alexis Molinar, Elian Hernandez, Audrey Hernandez, Katlynn Hernandez, Sofie Hernandez, Tony Jr. Hernandez (Micah).

He also has great-great nephews and nieces, Tony Allen Flores, G.G., Rose, Diane Hernandez and Addison Garcia.
