With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Anthony Rodriguez, who left this world far too soon on July 11, 2025, at the age of 54. A beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Daniel passed away in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by those who loved him dearly.
Born on April 6, 1971, Daniel was known for his quick wit, generous heart, and unshakable sense of humor. He brought laughter to every room and had a special way of lifting others up, even in the darkest of times. He was the kind of man who would drop everything to help someone in need—selfless, dependable, and full of compassion.
Daniel lived a life of service and incredible achievement. He began his career as an officer with the San Antonio Police Department, protecting and serving his community with honor and courage. Never one to stop growing, Daniel followed his dreams and earned his pilot's license, soaring through the skies with a freedom he loved. His passion for helping others led him once again to a life of service, this time in healthcare, where he became a Registered Nurse, bringing comfort and care to those in their most vulnerable moments.
Even as he faced a long and difficult battle with a relentless bacterial infection, Daniel remained brave, hopeful, and full of good spirits. His strength during that time was a testament to the incredible man he was.
Daniel is preceded in death by his loving mother, whose memory he carried close to his heart. He is survived by his devoted father, David Rodriguez; his siblings, David Rodriguez, Trish Evans (Jerald), and Jennifer Pease (Mike); and his many adoring nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom will miss his laughter, guidance, and love beyond words.
Though his time with us was cut short, Daniel’s legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering humor will live on in all who knew and loved him. He made a lasting impact on countless lives, and we are forever grateful for the time we had with him.
