David was born in Korea to David Leroy Kersey, Sr. and Ho Cha Chon Kersey. He had a great passion for learning as he was working on his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He loved hiking and chasing waterfalls, enjoying the beauty of God's creations. He also loved playing his guitar and posting daily Bible verses and sermons. His love for God showed daily. He was full of kindness and generosity and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a gentle, caring soul. He once quoted, "Life never waits for the perfect moment! Either you make the most of it now or you spend forever waiting." He made the most of life and now he is safe and secure surrounded by the light and love of God.
