As a family many road trips were taken. Together they hosted Halloween parties and Haunted Houses in their garage where David was instrumental in building many props that Karen would dream up. Also, countless Christmas Night singalongs around the piano. As their kids grew up and had children of their own, Karen & David would go to sporting events, various dance competitions and livestock shows, and choir concerts to show support for their grandchildren and later their great grandchildren.
