Pastor Don Juan Jones, a beloved leader and mentor, peacefully departed this life on July 11, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on October 8, 1954, he dedicated much of his life to serving his community through his role as Pastor at Baldwin Deliverance Tabernacle for 12 years, where his warmth and wisdom touched countless lives.
Don was not just a spiritual leader; he was a master electrician, skillfully wielding his expertise both in his profession and in teaching others. His tireless work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit were evident in all his endeavors, making him a pillar of strength for his family and friends alike.
His personality was marked by an unwavering love for the church and a profound desire to serve people. He had a deep appreciation for music, often finding joy in sharing melodies with friends and family. Pastor Jones was also known for his hearty love of good food, which he enjoyed with those he cherished most.
As a devoted family man, he embraced numerous roles throughout his life — Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. He celebrated family and relationships, always ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, or a comforting presence. His legacy of love and commitment to others will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Pastor Don Juan Jones will be honored with a Viewing on July 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A Funeral Service will follow on July 17, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Baldwin Deliverance Tabernacle.
He is remembered fondly, and his spirit will live on in the stories shared and the lives he transformed.
