Donald B. "Donnie" Davis, 53, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 unexpectedly.
He was born June 8, 1972, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Bonnie Davis who survives.
In addition to his mother, surviving are a daughter, Jessica Davis; his girlfriend, Angela Sward and her son, Alex; a brother, Ernie Davis; aunts and uncles, Chestine Walk, Nancy (Jim) Decker and Ernie Smith; numerous cousins; and longtime childhood friends, David Atwood, Ian Lawhorn, Dustin Townsend, Johnny Robinson, Jaime Sherman, Kelli Poole, Amber Moore, Christina Cutright-Pabst and Wayne Shoemaker. He was predeceased by grandparents, Chester and Marjorie Smith; uncles, Chester Smith and Jeff Smith; aunts, Rose Silcott and Rebecca Guysinger; and a friend, T.J. Poole.
Donnie was a loving son, father, and brother. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Some of his favorite things were coaching and playing slow pitch softball, bowling, gambling, fantasy football, cooking and repairing things. He was a huge Michigan Wolverine and Las Vegas Raiders fan.
Donnie graduated from Pickaway-Ross Vocational School in 1990. He worked at Adena Regional Medical Center for over 20 years. Donnie gave the gift of life through organ donation.
Per the family request, there will be no funeral service or visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home in Donnie's Honor.
